In the course of collecting
data for several extensive surveys conducted in collaboration with
the Ministry of Health Malaysia that provides essential information
on the health sector in the country, a wide network of contacts in
the health sector was established, and such contact information
ought to be interest in its own right to health professionals,
health related organizations, as well as the general public. These
contact information was therefore published in the form of a
Directory as a public service as well as in acknowledgement of the
many individuals and organisations listed in the Directory who
supported and contributed data to the surveys. This directory is no
doubt the definitive one stop guide to healthcare in Malaysia; the
most comprehensive source of contact information for people and
organisations in Malaysian healthcare.
Thanks to favourable feedback from the first edition, the Malaysian
Medical and Health Directory has been completely revised and updated
in the second edition to provide even more valuable and useful
information on healthcare providers and non-healthcare providers in
the country. This edition of the Directory is even more
comprehensive and has incorporated many more key players in the
health sector such as NGOS and professional bodies, medical academic
and research institutions, regulatory, health administrative and
public health authorities, and other providers of important services
in the health sector.
Everybody who qualifies to be listed should be in this Directory;
but almost certainly at the time of going to press, there may still
be quite a few omissions. For those who are not listed here, it is
not too late. Please quickly submit your request for FREE listing by
completing the form (click here).
The editorial team has made every effort to ensure the accuracy of
the information appearing in the directory. However, we cannot
guarantee that mistakes have not occurred. Please inform us of any
error, we promise they will be corrected in the next update or
edition.
